Volume Lashes are sometimes known as 2D lashes or even moving up to 9D lashes. This technique is ideal for ladies that don’t have many lashes and want a fuller look, or even for ladies that want a very glamorous ‘full on’ look.

Entry Requirement : Students must hold a recognised certificate in Eyelash Extensions to attend this course.

Day 1:

You will be guided through the best practice for eyelash extension treatment which will include relevant Anatomy of the Eye and associated medical conditions, contra-indications, client consultation, patch testing and deep eyelash cleansing.  Hand outs and a questionnaire will be supplied covering this part of the course. We will move on to the Volume Eyelash Extension Technique, the correct lashes to use, the right and wrong way to fan lashes, the styles to offer, the tools to use and how to fan the lashes.

You will be work-shopped on how to obtain the perfect fan and you will be required to practice on a mannequin and supervised by the class tutor.  Part one course will finish with a Q & A and you will then be asked to practice the technique and to supply three case studies to be emailed to the Professional Beauty Academy within a two month period for approval and sign-off.  You will be directed to participate in Day 2.

Day 2:

Once all the case studies have been approved and signed off by the tutor you will be required to return to the academy with your own model to take part in a practical examination of a 90 minute Volume Eyelash Extension treatment. We will supply you with the assessment criteria requirements prior to the agreed assessment day. You will be assessed at the end of the treatment and will be given a short examination paper to complete.  You will be assessed on your work and lash extension general knowledge you will receive your certificate to practice if the outcome is satisfactory.  Advice and guidance will be offered at the end of this process. We will supply you with your very own volume lash tweezers, a multi pack of 0.07 eyelash extensions and your training manual.
